CONTINUING EDUCATION

EARNING CE HOURS FOR 2021-2022

The Indiana State Board of Funeral and Cemetery Service has waived 832 IAC 4-1-1(e), removing the maximum hour of continuing education that may be obtained through distance learning. This waiver is set to expire at the end of the public health emergency.  A copy of the waiver can be found online at https://www.in.gov/pla/files/07-06-20-Funeral-and-Cemetery-Waiver.pdf.  There has been no change in the number of CE hours required to renew.

Once the emergency declaration ends, if a licensee has not obtained all CE hours via distance learning during the ED, the remaining balance above 5 hours would need to be live courses.
